The Moon - SOLD

by Cindy Weil with Judy Toupin

For thousands of years, as long as immigrants have been on the move, they have looked to the sky for guidance - both navigational and inspirational. The Sun, The Moon (including Polaris the North Star) and The Planets make up our Celestial Triptych and remind us of W.B. Yeats’ magnificent, “He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven.”

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
